Food & drinks

During your road trip through Tanzania, you'll enjoy a mix of included and optional meals – always with our tips in your roadbook.

During the safari part

When you're staying in or near the national parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Lake Natron), breakfast is included in your stay.

A lunchbox and dinner are optional but highly recommended:

  • There are almost no dining options during the day in the parks,
  • A-la-carte dining in the lodges is often more expensive than a pre-booked meal plan.

You can easily add these extra meals to your booking to enjoy your day in nature worry-free.

Outside the parks

In Arusha, Karatu, and Moshi, you have the freedom to choose: you can eat at your lodge's restaurant or one of the recommended spots nearby.

In the roadbook, you’ll find a selection of reliable dining options, from local dishes to international classics.
