At Tanzania Nomads, we believe that traveling should be a true immersion experience. That's why we've mapped out a unique journey with local partners, allowing you to discover the country in a different way: free, safe, and deeply connected to the local reality.

It all started with a meeting. Sainga grew up in the Datooga tribe, deep in the Tanzanian bush. Against all odds, he gained access to education – something that is rare in his community. After his studies, he became a safari guide to share his culture and knowledge with travelers.

During a trip, he crossed paths with Thomas, who is responsible for developing new projects at Travelbase. Together, they shaped Tanzania Nomads: Independent adventure with support, combining local grounding, freedom, and exploration at your own pace.
